[397] => Ponytrap is a band, a robotics project, and spectacular visual attraction. We love participating in Maker Faires! We play industrial music on classical instruments along with a 5 meter tall drumming robot that we built and program ourselves. We can present and entertain the audience in a variety of ways & look forward to bringing our giant robot to the Czech Republic!
[16] => Ponytrap can perform music and run a robotics demonstration. We can also do seminars and keynote speeches.
[391] => Ponytrap
[392] => We can do a variety of program lengths
[393] => Our presentation is for all ages, but it is pretty loud... anyone who is interested in music and robotics and Arduino projects and DIY art will find something to enjoy about our project.
[394] => As many as possible!
[396] => No - will be self-contained. Our only requirement is a single 220v outlet (More than one outlet is nice to have, but we can get by with one.)
[395] => No entry fee for attendees
[382] => Ponytrap performs industrial music on classical instruments with robotic drums.
"Ponytrap treats audiences to chamber music for the age of electricity, at once intimate and thundering, rigid and fluid, classical and industrial."
“If our post-industrial dystopia needs a soundtrack, Ponytrap can help… overlaying dark cello and viola against waves of thundering percussion, the result is a uniquely futuristic classical score of dark rhythms and haunting mechanics."

[64] => We need access to electricity (One 220v outlet is fine.) We should be in a place where it is okay to be a bit loud!
[74] => No. Two small music amplifiers, and charging cables for laptops and batteries.

[234] => Quentin Thomas-Oliver is a classically trained musician and self-taught robot builder. He got the idea to build his own drummer after failing to find the right people for his music project, Ponytrap. Now, more than 10 years on, Quentin has built a variety of portable, powerful, and off-the-shelf robotic percussionists and is pursuing his passion of performing music just the way he'd like.

[287] => Necessity is the mother of invention! I've always had a passion for creating and fixing things. So, it was a natural evolution of my art and music project, Ponytrap, to build a machine when I was unable to find the right human for the job!
[134] => We absolutely love Maker Faire and the maker community! We are looking forward to coming to share our weird vision with you in the Czech Republic!
