During the MakerFair Ostrava we would like to show it to you in a nutshell. On our stand we will have 3D printer that we usually use on the workshops to show how easy it is to create new, unique products with additive technologies. There will be a 3D scanner to present the other way around – how objects may easily become 3D models. We will also bring Arduino sets on which we teach how to build air, humidity or motion sensors, experiment with sound and light or create personalized smart home devices. Finally – you will find our LEGO mindstrom sets and our LEGO puppies – if you won’t play with one of them, he will get asleep immediately, the second – will be trying to bite you all the time😉 – made by children on workshops in FabLab. On each of the stations you will be able to touch the technology and play with it, in an open formula, no registration will be needed. You may build and program a LEGO robot or create a simple electronic circuit using Arduino microcontroller. You can also make a 3D scan of any object around or even of your friend 😊 [437] => FabLab Bielsko-Biała [382] => It will be a case study presentation about our FabLab and activities that we implement. We organize many different formats – from hands on workshops, through demo days and conferences, to hackathons. On the one hand, we may inspire makers community about possible formats to follow, on the other – we may find some cooperation possibilities for future implementation of common project. As FabLab and Regional Development Agency we are very active on the international area – we carry out many projects related to technological capacity building and providing knowledge and competences of the future to the community. We have many successful cases of cross border cooperation both with Slovak as well as Czech partners. We can also tell a story of our development – from FabLab two Digital Innovation Hub – but without loosing the sense of makers spirit.
