Ottpsoniic projekt miri na snížení pořizovací ceny a nabízí jednoduché instrukce jak si multikanálovým zvuk postavit vlastními silami. Pendulum nebo taky Kyvadlo je hudební nástroj ze série kontrolerů, která převádějí pohyb na zvuk od Vojtěcha Leischnera a Pavla Husy. V roce 2018 tak měli možnost návštěvníci pražského maker faire slyšet hudbu, kterou vytvořili žonglérské míčky. Kyvadlo vychází z předchozí práce - využívá akcelerometry a gyroskopy společně s wifi mikrokontrolérem.

Oba autoři dělají doktorát na FEL ČVUT, Vojta se věnuje počítačovému vidění, novým médiím a prostorovému zvuku (LinkedIn). Pavel je muzikant, hraje na basu a mimo jiné v projektu 4.5Ga~24h, zhudebňuje vývoj planety země ve spolupráci nejen s astrofyziky (LinkedIn).

Kyvadlo jednak svým pohybem určuje směr odkud zvuk zdánlivě přichází, takže má posluchač pocit, že krouží kolem něj. Zároveň je ale zvuk také přímo vytvářen v reálném čase nejen v závislosti na aktuální poloze kyvadla, ale i na interakcích mezi dvěma kyvadly navzájem. Jednoduchá pravidla, tak vytvářejí komplexní poslechový zážitek.

We map the pendulum rotation angle to spatial audio position, where the first pendulum represents the X axis and the second pendulum represents the Y axis.
